Gorden Analytical Laboratory has begun operations in its Indianapolis, Indiana headquarters. Conveniently located in the Chamber of Commerce Building at 320 North Meridian Street, this compact facility offers capital lab solutions on a point-of-care footprint.
"Strategic partnerships with leaders in medical technology and digital practice management will connect our patients and clients to a high-impact menu of clinical diagnostics" states laboratory director and founder Riley Gorden.
At launch, Gorden will offer affordable solutions to pre-employment urine drug screening both at its downtown office and at their clients' places of business. "Employers need accurate and flexible solutions to screen their candidate" Gorden says, adding that "our services will streamline hiring processes by reducing turnaround times from application to offer of employment".
Clients will be able to request services for their talent pool by ordering through an online booking tool, similar in experience to what your salon or barber might offer. This integration means you can schedule sample collection with your interview, orientation, or as needed. With reduction in the time between your request for laboratory services and the final results, employers will receive reliable data to support timely hiring decisions.
But GAL has is not planning on stopping there. Patients of health care providers in family medicine and obstetrics & gynecology will benefit from an upcoming launch that allows for at-home collection of patient samples for routine STI screening. These panels will be validated to screen anal, vaginal, and oral swabs for common infections as well as a less-invasive urine screen.
